The Sona drawings, plural of Lusona, were part of the tradition of the Tchokwe People. It is known in eastern Angola and close to the borders of Zambia and Congo. Draw urban mesh in order to empower the region, betting on the performance of the population, on the vocations of the city, cultures and capacities versus economic development.
Program
The plan contemplated two towers that functioned as Hotel and Conference Center and as Office Center (reception, offices and media center). In evidence we have the Cinema-Auditorium, embraced by a huge body of water, and a Commercial Area, consisting of exhibition centers/ observatories, restaurants, bars, terraces, commerce and space for children. The building of the Commercial Area was idealized spreading on the ground, which its ramp ceiling could be accessed by people to contemplate the surroundings. Finally, organic slabs contain the Service and Housing Buildings.
